Peter Emerson

Peter currently runs the de Borda Institute, which promotes multi-optional and preferential decision-making on every continent. His latest ventures have been in China. Having witnessed significant poverty, in 1970, he resigned his commission as a submarine First Lieutenant and volunteered to work as a teacher in Kenya. Four years later, he briefly worked in Kolkata and was later involved in various peace initiatives both locally and internationally.
