Prakash Shah

Reader in Culture and Law, Queen Mary, University of London

Dr Prakash Shah specialises in cultural diversity and law, religion and law and caste and law, having published widely and lectured internationally in these fields. He joined Queen Mary, University of London in 2002. He is a member of the Arts and Humanities Board Peer Review College and has received numerous grants, including from the British Academy. He will be joining the panel discussion on ‘Is Indian History Truly ‘Indian’?’ to share his expertise on postcolonial theory.
